In 2013, Xi’an Rail Transit Project required a large amount of concrete for station and tunnel construction. Due to the small space on site, it was impossible to arrange a traditional concrete mixing station, so a self-loading concrete mixer truck was used to supply concrete.
Equipment selection: The 8-cubic-meter self-loading concrete mixer truck produced by Manxing Company was selected. This model has the characteristics of self-contained hopper and fast unloading, which is very suitable for rail transit construction sites with limited space.
Construction process:
The concrete mixer truck takes materials from the nearest mixing station and mixes while driving.
After arriving at the construction site, the concrete is directly loaded from the self-contained hopper to the pump truck or transport truck.
Flexible scheduling, arrange the feeding frequency of the mixer truck according to the construction rhythm.
Safety control:
Develop a detailed vehicle dynamic monitoring and scheduling plan to ensure the continuity and timeliness of concrete supply. Strengthen on-site command and dispatch and personnel training to ensure safe and orderly operation. Develop an emergency plan to enable rapid response when vehicle failure or other emergencies occur.
Project effect: In the narrow construction site, the self-loading concrete mixer truck played an important role and met the supply demand of a large amount of concrete. Through scientific scheduling and safety control, the construction site operation order was good and no casualties occurred.
